The Poetry Podcast

The Poetry Podcast is an audio series that brings poetry into everyday listening — inviting audiences to slow down, listen deeply, and connect across cultures, languages, and lived experience.

Each episode centres on a single poem, read aloud, allowing the listener to encounter poetry as sound, rhythm, and presence. The podcast features work from poets across cultures and languages, and is widely used by listeners, students, and educators as a tool for reflection, literacy, and discussion.

With over 17,000 subscribers, The Poetry Podcast functions as a piece of public cultural infrastructure — making poetry accessible, free, and part of daily life.

Your Host

The Poetry Podcast is created and hosted by Jessica Munna, an artist, educator, and peace-builder working at the intersection of performance and public life.

A Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar, she has spent over a decade using artistic practice as a tool for cross-cultural connection, literacy, and public discourse. Her work is grounded in the belief that art — and its capacity to shift how we see the world — functions as a form of public service.

Partnerships

The Poetry Podcast partners with universities, libraries, and cultural organisations to support learning, access, and public engagement with poetry.

We offer paid talks, curated listening resources, workshops, and live podcast events designed for students, educators, and public audiences.
