About Jessica
I am an Offie-nominated, LAMDA-trained, US-born, UK-based artist, actor, and writer working across theatre, audio, and film.
My practice is rooted in the belief that art can function as a tool for connection, new perspectives, and peace-building. I began my career using performance and arts education in international development and disaster relief contexts, travelling widely and working as an artist and cultural ambassador through music, theatre, and film. I was awarded a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship for this work and spent several years living and teaching internationally.
Alongside this, I make original performance work that blends satire and documentary. My solo show Pieces Of Us received critical acclaim at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and my work has been presented by theatres, festivals, and producing organisations in the UK. I have also appeared in film and digital work, including the cult horror short Guest, which has reached a global audience online.
Across all forms – theatre, audio, and film – my work is concerned with new perspectives on the female experience, power, and how we stay human within complex systems.
