The Poetry Podcast is a quiet space for listening.

Each episode shares a poem — sometimes centuries old, sometimes newly discovered — read aloud with care. The poems are allowed to stand on their own, as they were meant to: a window into the world through someone else’s eyes.

Created from a background in peace-building and arts education, the series begins with a simple belief: that art is political because it helps us see the world differently. Listening to poetry — really listening — is an act of empathy, an aspiration to understand what connects us across time and experience.
